A little bit of Broadway in Yell

Last night, a group of friends met in the Wind Dog Cafe in Gutcher, Yell to sing together with Sarah and Norman who are on holiday in Shetland. Sarah is member of a singing group in England and wanted to meet some other people, hence the get-together!

We had a lot of fun, learnt a couple of new songs, a few rounds, watched the movie of IslandSongs and ended up with a impromtu creation of a Busby Berkeley number using 42nd Street from The Pajama Game!

Thanks to everyone who came to the singing, and especially to Sarah and Norman who took time to contact us to ask about singing in the first place. It is always a pleasure to meet new people, especially singers, and to make new friends.
