A day of opera for everyone!

January is a little cold and dark, so what better than this wonderful opportunity from the Royal Opera House to brighten the winter.

On January 7th, the Royal Opera will be streaming an entire day from the House and is this really going to be worth watching. There are over ten hours of uninterrupted programming available to watch which will take us into all the areas of the opera house to see the rehearsals, preparations, sets, costumes and a masterclass with Antonio Papanno the Music Director. There are stage rehearsals of new and old works, a chorus call and much more to see and hear through the day, starting at 10:30.

I am intending to watch the entire day including the Third Act of Die Walkure, which shows the behind-the-scenes action as the opera takes place.

There is more information on the Royal Opera website - http://www.roh.org.uk/news/royal-opera-live-streaming-day-announced. See you there!
