Pre-booking is now open for the residential event in October. Weavers who are looking for something unique and different to try will have a great experience over five days with Stacey Harvey-Brown and Kathy Schicker. But places are limited to six so please let us know as soon as you can if you want to pre-book.

We do not have the final prices yet and will post those as soon as we have finalised the workshop. The programme is subject to slight alteration but it will be based around textures and technology. Participants will create a number of woven samples inspired by Shetland light and landscape, learn how to create interesting textures inspired by the landscape with a range of weave structures and techniques, and learn about new materials and how to use them creatively. You will come away from the five days with a sketch book of ideas and notes, design for weave experience, a greater understanding of structure and materials, and knowing a whole lot more about weavers in the UK!
