Tours in 2018

Next year's tours are filling up well and we have an additional two...

Our usual tours are four days and five nights and they have been running now for five years. We always have a lot of fun on them and each tour is different. Through the tours I have met people from all across the globe including Singapore, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Canada, the USA and Europe as well as many from the UK and lots stay in touch through the blog. A big Merry Christmas to you all!

This coming season we have five tours and three are full already. There are places in July and August though so if you are interested please get in touch soon. The brochure is available from this download.

We also have two other tours this coming season. Both are to Fair Isle where we have workshops and events planned, and one combines the usual tour with a Fair Isle leg. If you would like more details please get in touch. The longer tour runs from 31st May while the other starts on the 28th July. The cost of the first is £2100 (although I am working on making it a little cheaper) from the 31st May to 8th June while the second is from the 28th July to the 3rd August and costs £1,400. Both of these exclude transport to and from Shetland and to and from Fair Isle. We will have Shona Skinner along with us for a workshop on making a textile book using a range of techniques for keeping those precious memories and experiments, and plenty of exploring of what must be my second favourite island, after Yell of course!
