A little light weaving?

Last week's blog included a link to a film all about light. Here is an article about weaving with light.

The Swedish School of Textiles students have been busy researching ways to get light into fabrics... literally. They have been using LEDs, fibre optics and polymer optics, and the results are stunning. Have a look at the images on this website and see what they have been up to.

If you fancy a go at weaving your own try the glow-in-the-dark plastic string or Glow Yarn. There are plenty of options on the Web and do let us know what you make.
