Vlisco revisited

Do you know the Dutch company, Vlisco, which makes cloth for the African markets? 

The process of creating the cloths results in a lot of waste so an enterprising student decided to use the leftovers to create utilitarian and colourful pieces for interiors. Simone Post has made rugs, coasters and seat coverings out of the fabrics by coiling and laser cutting, and the results are brilliant, in many senses of the word.
