The sound of bubbles

This week, a fascinating documentary has been on BBC Four. The show is all about bubbles, those little air pockets that are all around us. In the clip on this page, Dr Czerski who specialises in studying bubbles explains how the sounds we hear all around us are made by bubbles.

If you manage to get to see the whole programme on iPlayer, there are all sorts of fascinating facts about bubbles and their relationship to us and the world we live in. I did not know that bubbles affect the atmosphere and climate, but they do!
