The fabric of sounds

An interesting exploration of sound and textile comes together in a show in Vienna.

Designboom.com has brought what they call an "interactive tapestry installation" to our in-boxes this week. Suspended fabric has been painted with conductive paint and sensors attached. The result, when touched, is a series of sounds which can be played like an instrument. I think it is beautiful and a little bit eerie...
